How to Upload Files Using the cPanel File Manager

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

1. Enter your username and password.
2. Click the Log in button.

Step 2: Access the File Manager

1. After logging in, locate the File Manager icon under the Files section.
2. Click the File Manager icon to open the interface.

Step 3: Navigate to Your Target Directory

1. In the File Manager interface, use the folder tree on the left to navigate to the directory where you want to upload your files (e.g., public_html for your website's root folder).
2. Click on the target directory to open it.

Step 4: Upload Files

1. Click the Upload button from the top menu.
2. A new tab or window will open with an upload interface.
3. Drag and drop your files into the upload area, or click the Select File button to browse your computer and choose files.
4. Wait for the progress bar to complete. Once the upload is finished, you’ll see a confirmation message.
